Hunt down a bargain at Point Lookout Markets
Located just a stone’s throw away from our North Stradbroke accommodation, The Point Lookout markets are a treasure trove of local arts and crafts and the perfect place to pick up a unique souvenir of your stay at Whale Watch Resort.
Locals and tourists alike flock to the markets twice a month for a relaxing morning of shopping against the picturesque backdrop of North Stradbroke. Stroll among stalls showcasing unique clothing, quirky hand-crafted jewellery, ethnic art and a wide range of delicious treats including locally produced organic honey, jam and freshly baked cakes. If you feel like taking a break from the retail therapy, enjoy a relaxing island-themed massage with rejuvenating natural oils at one of the massage stalls, or get mystical and have your tarot cards read.
The markets take place at the Point Lookout Community Hall on Dickson Way. They start at 8am and generally come to a close at midday – plenty of time to hunt down a bargain!
