Sunset At Amity Jetty

North Stradbroke Island, also known as Stradbroke or simply Straddie, provides an ideal spot to get away with pristine white sandy beaches and a rugged coastal landscape. Being such a natural wonder, there are many highlights of the island for you to enjoy. Here are just a couple hot spots that you shouldn't miss during your stay at Whale Watch Resort Stradbroke accommodation.

Amity Point

Located right on top of the island, Amity Point refers to a fascinating fishing village that has become a tourist favorite for quite some time already. The area is good for all fishing enthusiasts of course as well as some good water fun like swimming and snorkeling. You can also find the freshest seafood and delightful meals. Amity Point is located only a 20 minute drive from our North Stradbroke accommodation, making it an easy spot to explore.

The Lakes

A visit to Stradbroke Island is not complete without visiting its two lakes: Blue Lake and Brown Lake. These two lakes provide easy access for people to go into offering barbecue areas for family picnics and other types of tours. Out of the two, Brown Lake is more convenient to visit because of the road access and distance. Our accommodation North Stradbroke Island allows you a great route to reach the lakes and go back after a day of fun by the water.

When it's time to rest up after exploring the island throughout the day, Whale Watch Resort provides the ideal retreat where you can watch the sunset over the ocean from your own private balcony.
