Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. Please do not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following conditions. References to “us”, “we”, and or “our”, shall mean Whale Watch Ocean Beach Resort. We strongly recommend you acquire travel insurance.

Any ‘Specials” advertised on this site relate to NEW bookings only and will not be offered to a cancelled booking and re-booking.

PLEASE NOTE: MANAGEMENT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL BOOKINGS (eg: zig zag booking, the inability to supply due to unforeseen circumstances, any booking errors, conflict of interest)

These terms and conditions apply to any bookings you make with us by phone, email, in person, or online. We will rely on the authority of the person making the reservation, to act on behalf of any other guests on the booking, and that person, will bind all such guests to these terms and conditions.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS
1 night’s tariff will be processed at time of booking in AUD. Balance of booking will be processed on or prior to the day of arrival.
*Full payment is required one day prior to arrival if arriving outside reception hours.

***Shoulder and Peak seasons require 50% deposit at time of booking.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
Please be advised that reservations are not confirmed until the payment of the required deposit has been successfully processed and a booking confirmation sent.
Keys will not be given out until full payment of balance has been received.

*A 1.5% credit card surcharge will be charged for all MasterCard and Visa Card transactions processed via the website, telephone bookings and in person. Credit Card Surcharge is non-refundable.

Personal cheques and cash are not accepted as a method of payment for accommodation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The guest acknowledges that they are aware of the following cancellation policy advice: The Agent makes the booking in good faith. However, the Agent takes no responsibility for actions or changes made by the owner or a third party which may impact on the booking and over which the Agent has no control. This provision includes the property being made for sale or being sold.

Government enforced closures will receive full refund only. Excluding Credit Card Surcharges

HIGH & SHOULDER SEASON OR SPECIAL EVENTS PERIOD
Bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, will receive a refund of their 50% deposit.  If cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival, guests will forfeit their 50% deposit and incur a $50 cancellation fee.  Final payment must be received in full 14 days prior to arrival.

LOW SEASON CANCELLATIONS
Bookings cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival, will receive a refund of their deposit.  If cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival, guests will forfeit their deposit and incur a $50 cancellation fee. Any changes to bookings inside 14 days prior to arrival where possible will incur a $50 fee.

NO refunds will be given on day of arrival or once you have checked into the Resort.

IMPORTANT

All our apartments have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you are booking a 1 bedroom apartment, you are entitled to use only one bedroom and one bathroom for the duration of your stay. Other bedrooms and the additional bathroom are not included in 1 bedroom stays and will be closed off. If guests require the use of the additional rooms, you are requested to contact reception to make arrangements and payments, as any unauthorized utilization of additional rooms will be charged to your credit card to cover cleaning and owner costs at a rate of $75 per night. If wanting to utilize the second bathroom a $50 charge will be added to your account upon request of the use of second bathroom.

LATE CHECK OUT OR EARLY CHECK IN

Late check out, and early check in, may be available upon request where possible. Please request this prior to your arrival. There is an additional fee of : $25 (up to 12noon, if wanting longer and this is available the fee will be $50)

CONDITIONS OF STAY
SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
A pre-authorization payment of $500 is required as BOND on check-in with a valid credit card during the September School Holidays.
A valid Driver’s License and/or Passport details are required on check in. ‘Schoolies’ will not be tolerated and will be evicted without refund. We do not accept booking for ‘Schoolies’ under any circumstances. (September or November)

UNDER 18’s
All guests under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire stay.
We reserve the right to refuse any booking if the parent/guardian cannot provide a current photo ID on check in.

NOISE 
Parties and Loud Music or Noise Levels are not permitted and will not be tolerated.
Guests will be requested to leave the resort IMMEDIATELY without refund.
Any damage to any resort property will be charged accordingly.

PARKING
Only ONE allocated undercover parking space is provided per apartment. There is visitor parking at the front of building.
